[KLQRP] Fall QRP camp?

JP and all,
 
Looks like ARCI is October 21,22 this year.   Is this generally a 'club' type event (a la FD), or individual?  Have we done it as a group before?  I like the Shackleford Banks idea.  
 
JP...I haven't forgotten...I still have your camping book.  I'll be there next Pig Out for sure.

Hello Darrell and all other Knights.
 
I am not sure when the ARCI contest is yet, but if I am not
already subject to a weekend trip with the wife I intend to go.
I plan to go up to Falls Lake and set up as I found a sweet spot
up there last year.
 
I am not going to get involved with getting a group together
until I am even sure I am going.  I might even just do it myself
this time.  I have a lot of gear to try out still that I did not get to
use for FD this year because of the weather and the inability
of setting up.  I even have a brand new tent that I opened up
twice and did not get to sleep in yet.  
 
If and when I get my mess straightened out I will post whether
I am going.  I don't want to commit this early and then have the
plans fall apart at the last minute.  I know the wife and I plan
to take my mother-in-law up to the mountains in October and
can't remember when the ARCI weekend is.  If it falls on the
same weekend I am going with the ladies and take Momma
on her trip to the mountains.  She is getting older and I want
to enjoy her company as much as possible.  
 
I guess you can see through that one.
 
Keep me posted though and we will see what happens.
