[KLQRP] KnightLites Pig Pickin' Saturday, September 23

Calling all Knights and Ladies!

 

Mark your calendars now for the KnightLites Pig Pickin' on Saturday, September 23, rain or shine.  This will be a family social held in place of the regular Thursday Pigout except it will be held the Saturday following the normal Pigout date to allow us the full day to get ready.  We will start with a socializin' session around 3:00 and eat when the pig parts are done, somewhere around 5:00 or 6:00pm.  The location will be our QTH which is between Cary and Jordan Lake just inside Chatham County.  We plan to grill pork shoulders and fix up some slaw, banana pudding and beans.    Others can bring a desert or a Pig Pickin' compatible dish, but it is not required.  We will have plenty of food.
