I remember Bob AE4IC telling me about that first meeting.  Brings back
memories . . . Like the first KL outing to Portsmouth Island.  Ahh . . .
The mosquito bites.  I remember it well but I sure had a lot of fun.  I
remember sleeping on the deck and waking up sometime in the wee hours,
looking up  and thinking there were clouds rolling in.  Then I realized
it was the Milky Way.  Sure was great to get that far away from
civilization.

All this reminiscing has me wanting to melt some solder.  I think it's
time for another QRP project.  Haven't been on the air enough lately
either.

Wish I didn't live so far from the RTP area.  Miss all the good times at
QRPigout.  I'm going to shoot for the July or August Pigout.  Don't let
me forget.
