[KLQRP] Pigout and shirts

Fellow Knights of the Lite Table,

    The Genuine Pig Pickin' QRPigOut is now history.  For those who were able to make it, it was great seeing you.  Liz and I had a ball.  For those who couldn't make it, you missed a fun party.  We had 31 present -- a great turnout.  I've forwarded pictures that I took to Gary for posting on the KnightLite website for all to see.

   At the Pig Pickin', Liz and I modeled shirts with embroidered logos of the KnightLite logo.  Unfortunately, the two colors I picked out for the shirts, medium blue and bright burgandy, really didn't show up the logo and/or writing (name and call) that well so we need to find a better color combination.  I'll be printing up some pictures of the logo with adjacent text to get a better idea of what would look good.  Then we can make a group buy of shirts in the selected "standard" colors so we can easily be identified at gatherings like hamfests, Atlantacon, or whatever.  Watch your email for additional news on this over the next week or so.

   The embroidered logo has the advantage that it can be scaled in size and different text (your name and call) added to it with no "set up" charge.  The setup charge for the logo is a one-time charge and has already been paid.  Individuals can order shirts or hats individually if they desire, although we probably get breaks for a group buy.  The cost of adding a logo and name/call to a shirt or hat was $8.  The shirt I had on was $28 and the hat was $13 including the embroidery.  The work was done at the following shop:
