[KLQRP] Field Day 2007 @ Jordan Lake. Welcome!

Dear Knights

 

I am not sure if this email address is still active. It is so long since I
was at a Knightlites meeting that I am completely out of touch. 

 

Anyway I do know that certainly some of us are planning to work field day
from Lake Jordan campground near Raleigh next weekend. I know myself, JP,
Derek and Bob AE4IC will be there. I am planning to set up my tent on
Thursday evening in order to secure a decent campsite.

 

The idea is to set up at camp B11 and B12 at CrossWinds campground or
thereabouts and depending on availability.  There Is opportunity to
establish a number of good antennas high up in that area. 

 

This is not exactly a highly organized operation! Certainly I will have my
K2 operational and no doubt there will be other stations established. 

 

Please bring your own food and accommodation.
