The NWS forcast for Saturday is 96 and Sunday is 93.
I found a 12 volt fan (about 14 inches in diameter) at Northern Tools
yesterday - I have it rigged up with an Anderson Power pole connector -
the wall-wart that comes with it is rated for 700 ma, so I assume that
is about the current draw on the high setting.
I have 5 2.3AHr gell cells that I will bring along, but I am thinking of
buying a wet cell battery that will have more capacity - I need a new
one for my Mazda anyway.
All my power connections mate to Anderson Powerpoles. I wonder how many
others have APPs on their power cables? I will have a small RigRunner
to make power connections.
I may or may not be able to make it Friday - but look for me for sure on
Saturday.
I have a couple sets of paddles and a K1EL keyer should it be needed by
anyone. The 3 rigs I will bring along (K2, K1 and KX1) have internal
keyers.
My 32 ft telescoping pole and 44 ft. doublet antenna will be available,
and I can bring my MFJ259B in case we need to tune any antennas. I do
have a QRP tuner (Ultimate Match) that can come with me as well.
I don't recall anyone mentioning which class we will be operating in - I
assume Class A-battery, and if we have enough battery power ahead of
time, we can add the bonus points for all transmitters independent of
power mains.
