Greetings Sir John Paul;

Thanks for taking the time to acknowledge "Good Service"... More
and more companies are adapting the attitude that customers are always
wrong. not the other way around. You get what you pay for, so don't expect
good service too... unless you want to pay a lot more. :-)

It is refreshing to hear an occasional story about companies that
go well beyond the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We indeed
owe it to them to spread the word that they are a top quality
organization.

Gary, N3GO

[KLQRP] Flashlight (Streamlight 4AA)

Several years ago we got some Streamlight 4AA LED flashlights
for FD when we went to Black Balsam. We used them then, and I
have used mine since.

I have used mine for all my QRP events and at the house for all my
night time activities. I have never had a problem with it and it has been
a tool I could not do without. For the price we paid for them it was a
real deal at the time.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the light was not working
properly and decided to send it back and get it repaired. I sent it
back this past week. It was gone a total of less than 7 days.
It arrived back on my doorstep tonight when I got home.

It was repaired and the bill was marked PAID. I got it fixed and
they said it was a warranty repair and no charge.

Now, that, is this time and day, is something I don't usually see
very much. I was perfectly willing, and told them, that since I
used the light so much I would pay for the repairs.

Well, guys, if you bought one and it quits send it back and I am
sure they will treat you the same way.
