[KLQRP] KnightQuest Update

Guys,

I just visited the KnightLite web site and, true to his word, Sir Gary
did introduce our new project with a sonnet! And, in case you haven't
read the announcement, it's under NEWS.

I have one correction to make... I didn't come up with the name
KnightQuest. Last month as I was walking toward my car, leaving the
Golden Corral QRPigOut I heard someone say, "We need to come up with a
good code name for this project", and someone else (maybe Chris) said,
"How about KnightQuest?" By that time I was at my car, and just left,
but later when I wrote something on the reflector, I just used that name
for lack of anything else. So, will the real KnightQuest originator
please make himself known?!

Finally, I want all of you to promise not to laugh when you see my
module this Thursday. It seems that my junque box, which must hold
several thousand resistors and capacitors, is not as well stocked as I
thought. So far I've populated about a dozen parts, but they include a
carbon resistor that must be at least 50 years old, a resistor made of
two resistors in series, an old capacitor and a surface mount
capacitor. I've spent more time sorting for small parts than I have
soldering. So remember, nobody laughs..........
