[KLQRP] Project KnightQuest

Guys,

Last night at QRPigOut we had a several moments of abandon and decided
to start a GREAT new project!  For the time being we will refer to it
using the code name KnightQuest.  As we progress further the full
project will be made known to all.  In the meantime several Knights have
assumed the responsibility for building sections of the project and we
will bring them together at coming QRPigOuts.

We will build about six prototypes, with each prototype having the
unique features provided by the builder.  When the prototypes are
complete, depending on many factors we may or may not design a board and
offer a short kit.  A full announcement of this project will be made soon.

Now, prototype builders:  I will order parts if you send me a list of
what you need (part numbers would be great, too).  Since we are building
about six prototypes I'll be able to order enough parts to get the first
price break in most cases and minimize postage.  Joe, I'll order about
100 crystals if you agree.  I'll receive the parts and distribute them
to each of you.  If you have enough parts in your junk box for six
prototypes and don't mind sharing them, that's OK, too.  Or, of course
if you are using your junk box to experiment with an enhancement to the
circuit, that's OK, too.

One final note, I said I'd handle the audio section, but it looks like I
should actually take U4 and U2 and surrounding circuitry, in other
words, U2 and everything after it in the circuit.

Any other stuff I've forgotten?
