Knightlites,

Those of you who have been wanting to use serial devices, or programs 
set up for serial devices (i.e., logging) may find the driver at the web 
site below useful.  Most new laptops have no serial port, opting instead 
for USB ports  With a USB/serial cable and a driver we can use the newer 
computers with some of our older programs.

This site was obtained by Paul Kiciak, N2PK, who, like myself had 
ordered a USB/serial cable from the EMT company.  Neither Paul nor I 
have tried either the driver or the cable to date due to other 
priorities, but it looks like the $10 cable will work with this driver. 
  I'll let you know if we find any problems with this approach.
